In March of 2021, the inspiring initiative "For Women By Women, Period" was established by Carrington Baker at St. John's University. This remarkable team united students with a common goal: combatting period poverty and challenging the societal stigma surrounding menstruation across diverse cultures and generations. Comprising members from various backgrounds, our team possesses a rich understanding of the experiences of menstruators. Beyond the provision of hygiene products to those in need, our mission extends to fostering a safe space for open conversations about periods and ensuring improved education on menstruation for all age groups.
We invite you to join us on this transformative journey, as we are eager to welcome you into the FWBW. community!
We are advocates for women's and LGBTQIA+ member's reproductive rights. We believe in the RIGHT to choose what individuals do with their own bodies.
We create an inclusive environment for all of those who menstruate because we believe that menstruation is not only a feminine process.
We provide better education about menstruation for your generation and future generations, so there is a safe space to discuss all experiences.
